What I bring when I work with you
Empowering others and being creative is what brings me joy. I especially love working with organisations that do good, like charities and non-profit organisations.
I have been a director of an arts charity in the past and supported men and women on the edge of homelessness.
In terms of digital work, I empower others by communicating important campaign messages, bringing clarity to complicated issues and giving voice to those who aren’t always heard.
- At GOV.UK I translated complicated policies and legal jargon into clear, concise plain English so that ordinary people could understand their rights.
- At Real Time Video I helped young people have their say by planning, editing and producing video content for people involved in their care.
- By advising non-profits like Harrow Bereavement Care and the Salvation Army on their content strategy I helped them to empower others.
At GOV.UK I developed processes to maintain the editorial standards of hundreds of government departments and public bodies moving over to the new platform.
I was on the team that won the D&AD yellow pencil for writing design at the Government Digital Service.
I’ve managed editorial teams to produce content to daily deadlines and provided training for internal and external teams.
With a background in Business and IT, I bring a strategic approach to everything I do. I bring my entrepreneurial mind and creative energy to generate fresh ideas to every team or project.
I am a guest blogger for the Creatives Hub, a network for solo-preneurs and creatives.
